EWORA held its 2026 Conference on 10 June 2026 at the Palace of the Academies in Brussels, bringing together academic leaders, policymakers, researchers, and experts for a day of dialogue on women’s leadership, gender equality, academic freedom, democracy, and the future of higher education.
Held under the theme “Women’s Leadership in Academia in Times of Rising Geopolitical Tensions,” the conference provided an important platform to reflect on the role of universities and women leaders in responding to today’s complex social, political, and institutional challenges.
