The EWORA Board held its latest meeting in Edinburgh in a hybrid format, bringing together Board members and Advisory Board members both in person and online. The meeting provided a productive and collegial environment to review ongoing priorities and shape EWORA’s strategic direction for 2026 and beyond.

 

Discussions focused on strengthening EWORA’s leadership initiatives, enhancing the visibility and impact of women rectors across Europe, and advancing preparations for the 2026 EWORA Conference and the EWORA Mentoring Programme.

 

The meeting also offered an opportunity to refine the themes and structure of the 2026 conference, ensuring the programme reflects EWORA’s mission to promote gender equality, inclusive leadership, and stronger representation of women in higher education governance.
