We are pleased to share the official report of the EWORA 2025 Lisbon Conference, held on 26–27 June 2025 at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon.
Centred on the theme “Gender Equality in the Academy is Fragile: Is Values-Led Leadership the Answer?”, the conference gathered rectors, senior academics, researchers, and institutional leaders from across Europe. Over two days, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on leadership, equality, institutional transformation, and the future of women’s representation in academia.
The published report provides an overview of the key sessions, insights, and outcomes that emerged during the conference, reflecting EWORA’s continuing commitment to advancing gender equality in higher education.
