The panel on "Women's Leadership in Academia: Management Struggles, Strategies, Barriers, and Solutions", jointly organized by the European Women Rectors Association (EWORA) and Kadir Has University, has successfully concluded.

 

The event aimed to go beyond raising awareness of the importance of women in senior academic leadership positions, and it successfully encouraged women academics to pursue and prepare for leadership roles in academia.

 

This panel marked the first event of the Women+ Movement in Academia, bringing together experienced leaders and early-career academics to exchange insights, draw inspiration from each other, and explore ways to enhance leadership skills and career advancement.

 

The discussion fostered a supportive environment, and participants left feeling motivated and equipped to move forward in their academic careers. Future activities will continue to build upon the momentum from this panel, with more opportunities for learning, networking, and empowerment.
