Pepi Patrón Costa
Pepi Patrón Costa has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Louvain-la- Neuve (Belgium). She is Professor of the Humanities Department (Philosophy Section) at the Ponti cal Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Author and/or editor of books and articles in academic journals specialized in hermeneutics, practical philosophy, political philosophy, human development, and gender. She has being also Member of the Eminent Persons Group to the World Bank’s Chief Economist and international consultant to the World Bank (three years as member of the resident mission in Asunción, Paraguay) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). In 2009 she was chosen as the rst woman VicePresident for research at the PUCP, in addition to being President of the Superior Council of EMULIES.
