Candan Fetvacı is currently the Director and Member of the Board of Aydın Doğan Foundation. In this role, she plans and oversees all of the Foundation’s philanthropic activities, especially those in education. She also serves as a Board Member of TUSEV, the Turkish Third Sector Foundation which provides support to a network of over 100 foundations and associations in Turkey.
From 1997 to 2004, she served as General Manager of the Boğaziçi University Foundation, where she was responsible for supporting the university’s activities through the foundation. The University and the Foundation worked very closely for fund raising for the university.
Candan earned an MBA in Operations Management and did her graduate studies at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. She also studied at the Middle East Technical University’s Faculty of Architecture and City Planning Department in Ankara.
She currently resides in Istanbul with her husband. She has two daughters and one granddaughter.
